Wilma Rene Russell, age 76, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 in the comfort of her home. She was born January 13, 1944 in the Philippines. She brought a great deal of joy to her friends, always made a big impression, and was deeply loved by all who met her. Although she was retired, she went to “work” every Tuesday and Thursday at Bingo. Occasionally, she would get a bonus when she visited the Biloxi casinos. When she was at home, she was fond of cooking, playing games on her iPad, and watching her soaps or a scary movie. Conversation was never limited, as she loved to talk about her life and that of which she shared with her husband Thomas. She was also a fluent speaker of Tagalog.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Russell, Jr. of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, and her sister Merly Durand of Washington.
