William Tipton, Jr. Obituary

William Louis Tipton, Jr. passed away at home on November 21, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer, the love of his life for twenty-eight years; his four sons, Joshua, Caleb, Nicholas and James; his daughter, Hannah; granddaughter, Raelyn; parents, Gail Wilson, (George Wilson) and William Tipton; sister, Wendi Quinn (Jerry); and stepbrother, James Wilson (Jessica), along with many nieces and nephews.

William was born in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, on June 15, 1974, where he attended Choctawhatchee High School. In his teenage years, William started working at B&T remanufacturing, which later became Tipton Automotive. He worked there for his entire life.

He was an outstanding mechanic who took pride in his work and everything he did. When he wasn't working, his favorite hobby was fishing. He would always stop and throw his line out any chance he got. He loved his friends and family immensely. He was very dedicated, and anyone who knew him knew that he was just a phone call away. William was the best kind of friend, an amazing husband and father. He will be greatly missed by all.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Davis Watkins Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road NE, Ft. Walton Beach, FL.  The family will receive friends one hour prior.
