William Just

William Just, age71, a resident of Marianna, Florida passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 30, 2020.  He was born November 10, 1948 in Kearny, New Jersey to Chester and Johnnie Just.  William served in the United States Army Special Forces, better known as the Green Berets.  As a highly trained soldier, he was involved in covert operations behind enemy lines in Vietnam.  After retiring from the military, he worked with the Division of Corrections, before retiring for the second time.

William is survived by his wife, Barbara Hughes Just; one daughter, Angela; one son, Kevin; one sister, Theresa; one brother, Wayne; and a special forces brother, Truett. 

A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, 1985 Pleasant Ridge Road, Westville, Florida 32464 beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dale Paul officiating.  Military Honors will be provided by the Army.
