Wesley Harmon Thomas, age 67, passed away Monday, February 2, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born July 12, 1958, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to the late Harmon Thomas and Addie Slaughter. In his spare time, Wesley loved hunting, fishing, and racing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harmon and Addie Thomas; three brothers, Alton Harold Thomas, James Thomas, and John Thomas; three sisters, Barbara Cosson, Laura Thomas, and Sue Thomas, all of Westville; one nephew, Charles Cosson of Caryville; and one great niece, Remi Allison Flanders of Westville, Florida.
Wesley is survived by two siblings, Janice Thomas and Terry Thomas (Connie); two nieces, Morgan Flanders (Kirkland) and Irene Kull (Donnie); three nephews, James Cosson (Mary), Timothy Thomas (Kayla), and Nolan Brown (Heaven); one stepson, Dillon Wilson (Tiffany); four grandchildren; and numerous great nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and his church family.
A time of visitation will be held Friday, February 6, 2026, in the chapel of Davis-Watkins of Bonifay, 406 West Highway 90, Bonifay, Florida 32425 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Hudson Hill Church, 1942 Tower Lane, Westville, Florida 32464 beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor David H. Davis officiating. Committal will follow at Campground Cemetery. Those asked to serve as pallbearers are as follows: Kirkland Flanders, Dillon Wilson, Rodney Bowers, David Brannon, Donnie Jackson, and Nathan Jackson.
