Wanda Mae Manning, age 53, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was born November 24, 1971, in Geneva, Alabama to the late Brasher Gainey and Nellie Biggs. In her spare time Wanda enjoyed fishing and listening to country music, but above all else she loved spending time with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Brasher Gainey and Nellie Biggs; her husband, Barney Manning; and one son, Thomas Manning.
Wanda is survived by her boyfriend, Johnny Manning; two daughters, Kaylena Manning and Maykala Manning; one son, Briton Raby; six grandchildren, Ivy, Kylie, Ian, James Wyatt, Autumn, and one new, soon-to-be grandson; three siblings, Bobby Gainey, Wayne Gainey, and Richard Gainey (Tabbie); one nephew, Mason; and one niece, Michaelyn; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2025, in the chapel of Davis-Watkins of Bonifay, 406 West Highway 90 Bonifay, Florida beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Stacy Stafford officiating. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Committal will follow at Midway Cemetery.
