Vincent Burden ascended this life here on Saturday April 3, 2021 in his home.
Vincent Burden was born June 15, 1962 in Mobile, Alabama to Doris and Neal Bason Jr. Vincent and his siblings were later moved to Crestview, Florida where attended Crestview High School. After graduating high school Vincent proudly made the decision to serve his country and joined The United States Army and ended his military career as a MSGT in The United States Air Force. Between those enlistments, Vincent also worked as a first responder with the Crestview fire department and an employee with the city of Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Vincent was also a part of the Hurricane Hunter Crew in Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi.
His upbringing by his parents and the discipline taught through military training, collectively, created the poised professional man we all know and love today. Vincent was currently employed at Eglin Air Force Base radar facility until his health failed. He was a respected and loving friend in the community. His confidence filled every room he entered, his unfaltering energy and determination matched his intellect and agility. He will be forever missed as a loving gentleman and an avid fan of the University of Miami Hurricanes football team. He would argue with you for hours about that team. Vincent was preceded in death by his parents Doris and Neal Bason Jr. He leaves a loving and devoted family to cherish his memory. One daughter Vlia Day (Shaquille) and one son Carlos Thomas (El Paso, Tx) and one grandson.
