Veronica Trejo-Sanchez

Veronica Trejo Sanchez, 51, of Guadalajara, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

She was born on December 10, 1974, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, to Maria Olivia Sanchez and Jesus Trejo. Throughout her life, she worked tirelessly to provide for her family, most recently working as an overnight stocker at Walmart. She was known for her strong work ethic, friendly nature, and the joy she brought to those around her.

Above all, Veronica was a devoted and loving mother. She found her greatest joy in her children, creating memories with them that will be cherished forever. She loved traveling across the United States and exploring cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Orlando, and Miami. Whether it was a trip to a theme park, a day at the beach, or a simple visit to the movies, she treasured every moment spent with her family. She enjoyed taking photos in the moment and held a special place in her heart for her home country of Mexico.

Veronica carried a strong and serious presence, but those closest to her knew her playful spirit. She loved to joke, laugh, and find happiness in life’s simple, sometimes silly moments. Her laughter and love will echo in the hearts of those who knew her forever. 

She is survived by her loving daughters, Michelle Caballero and Vanessa Onofre; her sons, Kenneth Caballero and Christian Onofre; and her siblings, Imelda, Estela, Jose de Jesus, Olivia, and Maria Guadalupe. She was deeply loved, and her absence leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of her family.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at Davis-Watkins Crestview Memorial, 492 East Pine Avenue, Crestview, Florida, 32539. She will then be taken to Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, where she will be laid to rest alongside her father, mother, and brother.
