Troye Hackworth Obituary

Troye Annette Hackworth, age 80, a resident of Alford, Florida, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023. She was born October 22, 1943, in Durham, North Carolina to the late Troy and Christine Yates. She was a faithful member of Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Bonifay, Florida.

Troye loved spending time with her family and preparing delicious meals for them to enjoy. In her spare time, she liked to read and work with different kinds of crafts.

She is preceded in death by her husband of thirty-eight years, Paul Hackworth; and one grandson, Joel Troy Wotton.

Troye is survived by one daughter, Kathy Wotton and husband, Joel; one stepson, Gordon Hackworth; three grandchildren, Nathan, Kaley, and Kelsey; and one great granddaughter, Bella.

In keeping with Troye’s wishes, no service will be held.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home and Crematory of DeFuniak Springs.
