ToMieka Nicole Davis Moss, 46, was born February 24, 1980. She was the proud daughter of the late Dorothy Jean Dixon Horton, Bruce Davis, and Bennie Horton (step-father). She was the youngest on her maternal side and the 2nd youngest on her paternal side. She attended Rocky Bayou Christian School and graduated in the class of 1997.
On Thursday evening, June 18, 2026, she answered the Master’s call and ended a sweet, peaceful and enduring life to go to her heavenly home. She was 46 years of age at the time of death at her home in Horton, Alabama.

ToMieka was preceded in Death by her parents, Dorothy Jean Dixon Horton and Bruce Davis; Father-in Law, Joshua Moss; Grandparents, Annie Mae Dixon Caldwell Stanley, Arthur Clarence Howard (maternal) and Ronald Davis (Paternal); great Aunt, Rosie Lee Gilbert; her Uncles, Clarence Howard Junior, Dwight Howard, and Robert “Bo” Howard.
ToMieka was a beloved and dedicated supervisor at Tyson. She was a colleague, friend, and a source of encouragement to many. She was described as a “bright presence in our workplace.” Meika shared her continual kindness, touched countless lives and left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She displayed genuine care for others; To know her was to love her; Her dedication and work ethic superseded what most desired to have.
ToMieka was known for her tiny handwriting with liquid fancy pens in high school; she was a pen connoisseur. She was on her way to completing her dream farm and currently lived off the land raising chickens, pigs, dogs and a variety of other animals.
Her legacy will live on through the lives she influenced and will deeply be missed, fondly remembered and forever held in our hearts!
