Todd Whitney was born on April 15, 1965, in Houma, Louisiana, the beloved youngest of nine siblings. From an early age, Todd’s sharp intellect and boundless curiosity set him apart. He went on to earn a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Louisiana State University, launching a distinguished career in the semiconductor industry as a highly respected failure analysis specialist.
In 1989, Todd married the love of his life, Kitty Harris. Together, they built a life rooted in love, purpose, and innovation. Their shared vision led to the founding of the Infusion Network, a medical business that revolutionized patient care and left a lasting impact on the healthcare industry.
Later in life, Todd and Kitty were blessed with their greatest joy—son Max, who is now 21 and following in his father’s footsteps by studying electrical engineering at the University of Colorado in Boulder. Todd’s devotion to Max knew no bounds. He was a dedicated, wise, and loving father who instilled in his son the values of perseverance, humility, and integrity. He could not have been prouder of the man Max is becoming.
Even after retiring from the medical industry, Todd’s entrepreneurial spirit flourished. He channeled his creativity into new ventures, founding family entertainment centers Blast and Thrills and the beloved ice cream stores Moolala Ice Cream. In every endeavor, Todd was more than a leader—he was a mentor. He empowered his teams, encouraged growth, and inspired every person to be their best. To know Todd was to be changed by his wisdom, strength, and unwavering support.
Todd is survived by his cherished wife, Kitty, and his adored son, Max. He also leaves behind his eight loving siblings—David, Sandra, Debra, Kevin, Randy, Laurie, Connie, and Jamie—and their spouses. He was a beloved uncle to Brett, Chad, Derek, Hayley, Alisha, Andrea, Lorie, Kelsey, Chase, Dan, Lacie, Tyler, and Robert and their spouses.
To Kitty’s family, Todd was not just an in-law, but a foundation of strength—a steady, compassionate presence whose wisdom and kindness touched them deeply. He will forever remain a pillar of their lives.
Todd lived with unshakable moral fiber and a commitment to health, fitness, and nutrition, driven by his deep love for Kitty and Max. His character was defined by humility, integrity, and a quiet confidence born of experience and understanding beyond his years.
Todd’s legacy is one of love, mentorship, innovation, and unwavering devotion to family. His spirit will live on in all who had the honor of knowing him.
God bless our Todd. We love and miss him dearly.
