Thomas E. Robinson Sr., of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, passed away on February 6, 2025 at the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. Thomas was born in Yazoo City, Mississippi to the late Porter Robinson Sr. and Mildred Townsend Robinson on July 2, 1943. He was the third child of a family of five siblings.
Thomas attended Elementary and High school in Lexington, Mississippi. After High school he enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving for 26 years. While serving in Air Force, he found the love of his life, Patsy B. Robinson and married for fifty-four years. After retiring from the Air Force. Thomas and his family moved to Fort Walton Beach, Florida, where he worked at Micro Systems for ten years.
After retirement, Thomas enjoyed gardening, fishing, tinkering with gadgets, and watching sports.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Porter Robinson, Jr., Miller Robinson and Ned Robinson; one sister, Lorine Robinson.
Thomas leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Patsy B. Robinson; two sons: Thomas E. Robinson, Jr. and wife Leola Rene Robinson, of Milton, Fl., Patrius T. Robinson of Ft. Walton Beach, Fl.; four grandchildren: Kwan I. Robinson, Anaheim, Ca.; Thomas E. Robinson III, Fort Worth, Tx., Thomesha E. Robinson, Pensacola, Fl and Thomiyah E. Robinson, Milton, Fl. Two great grandsons; Kason and Kova Robinson. As well as other family and friends.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 10:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am at Davis Watkins Funeral Home in Fort Walton Beach.
Interment will be in Townsend/Clark Family Cemetery. Located at 1766 V. Rogers Road in Lexington, MS.
