Tammy Shipman, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away Friday, June 4, 2021, in Pensacola, Florida six days before her 54th birthday. She was born in DeFuniak Springs, the daughter of Paul and Earlene Johnson. She was presently an employee with CBT in Freeport and absolutely loved her job as a dump truck driver. Tammy was formerly a school bus driver for Walton County.
She is preceded in death by her father and one son, Jerrin Reed who passed away in 2018.
Tammy is survived by her husband of eleven years, Rodney Shipman; one son, Jeremy Reed of DeFuniak Springs; one daughter, Kobe Reed of Tampa, Florida; two sisters, Cassandra Johnson and Theresa Williams both of DeFuniak; one brother, Paul Johnson, Jr. of DeFuniak Springs; and a host of aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Everlasting Word Full Gospel Baptist Church, 2132 US Highway 90, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433 beginning at 11:00 a.m.
