Talbot “Chubby” Cooper, Jr., age 77, of Freeport, Florida passed over Tuesday, July 2, 2019 to be with our Lord and Savior and family that had gone on before. He was Baptist by faith and served his country faithfully in the United States Navy before retiring as First Class Petty Officer. Talbot will be missed by his large family and friends. “Chub” was known for his great humor and his love for hunting and fishing, which came from his young childhood. Then came his life with his own family, which he loved and took great pride in, along with a twenty year Navy career. He came from a long line of Navy heritage before and after him consisting of his father, uncles, daughter, son-in-law, and great nieces. The pride in America continues with our younger generation which Chub inspired to do so. He will always be truly loved, respected, and missed by anyone who knew him. Also, Chub had a life long companion in his dog “Tippy” who was always faithful and true to remain by his side till his death. He truly was man’s best friend.
