Suzanne (Crowley) Styron

Suzanne Styron, 83, of Crestview, Florida passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021, after a sudden battle with cancer. 

Sue was born April 23, 1938 in Rochester, New York to her parents, Aloysius D. and Nelly Mildred Crowley. She graduated from Boulder High School in Boulder, Colorado. After 2 years of proudly serving in the United States Air Force, she was honorably discharged February 2, 1958. She was married to James L. Styron December 16th, 1958. She excelled at childcare, both working at home and daycare centers. Above all, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She loved playing cards and Yahtzee with family and friends. She affected so many families in the community by helping raise their children through her childcare work, many of whom became lifelong friends throughout her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her son-in-law DeWayne Everage.

She is survived by her brother, Lawrence Crowley; children, Marvin and wife Rhonda, Greg and wife Martha, Mark and wife Tracy, and Jennie; grandchildren, Kenneth, Kevin, and Zach Styron, Brent, Cynthia, and Collin Styron, Mariah and Austin Maas, Amanda Styron, Robby Gaines, and Clay Styron, Heather Overstreet and Haleigh Moore, and Hannah and Haleigh Everage; great-grandchildren, Kevin, Laynie, Mason, Sawyer, Jackson, Levi, and William Styron, Alyssa and Payton Gaines, Madison Ward, and Haddie Moore; nieces and nephews, Brooke Crowley, Matt Weirauch, Scott Crowley, and Wanda Cooley; cousins, Marilyn Symington, Mike Thompson; and many of her beloved dear friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 2 at 4:00 PM with a memorial at 5:00 PM at Davis Watkins Funeral Home, 492 East Pine Avenue, Crestview, Florida.  A small gathering to follow.
