Susan Marie Davis

Susan Chicola Davis was born on August 26th, 1953, in Alexandria, LA and was welcomed into God's warm embrace on February 21, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of the late Mary Ellen and Anthony Chicola.

Susie, as she was known by family and friends, was a bright star to every person she met.  Her passing has darkened the world and left a tremendous void in our hearts and minds.  Susie will be remembered by her overwhelming joy for life and genuine compassion.  She was one of kind – we ask that you hold on tightly to good memories of her as we all strive to absorb this tragedy.

Susie is survived by her son, Kyle and daughter-in-law, Heather, her beloved grandsons, Anthony and Leo.  She also leaves behind her brothers and sisters who amongst many others, miss her dearly.  Among them are Jeffrey Paul Chicola, Christy Miller, Valerie Johnson, Daniel Chicola, Anthony J. Chicola, and Janet Wellan.  She was predeceased by her husband, Captain Thomas “Randy” Davis.

The family will receive family and friends at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 307 Beach Dr., Destin, FL 32541 on Saturday, March 1, 2025. A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Central time with Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Destin Memorial Cemetery.
