Stanley “Stan” Vonn Junger, age 84, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, went to be with the Lord on December 31, 2024. He was born November 12, 1940, in Valparaiso, Florida to Henry Frank and Eloise Weekley Junger.
Stan was preceded in death by his wife of sixty years, Oveta T. Junger; brothers, Gerald Frank Junger and Lloyd Dean Junger; and nephews, Jerry Junger and Kenneth Junger.
Stan was a member of Mary Esther Church of God and a Plumbing Contractor for fifty-three years. He also served his country in the United States Marine Corps, and was a captain for the Fort Walton Fire Dept.
Stanley is survived by a son, Steve A. Junger (Pamela) of Crestview, Florida; daughters, Teresa R. Anderson of Niceville, FL., and Melody A. Junger of Fort Walton Beach, FL.; brother, H. Shelton Junger (Angelia) of Crestview, FL.; sister, S. Jeanine Lynch (Thomas) of Lawrenceville, Georgia; sister-in-law, Cinda Junger of Enterprise, Alabama; grandchildren, Ryan Anderson, Brandon Anderson (Kayla), M. Blake Anderson (Morgan), Zachary Anderson, Chelsea Harris (Andrew), and Shayna R Junger; and twelve great grandchildren. He also leaves behind many other family members and friends whom will miss him.
A time of visitation is at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Davis Watkins Funeral Home at 113 Northeast Racetrack Road, Fort Walton Beach, FL., with Brother Buck Dockery officiating. A burial will follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Steve Junger, Travis Junger, Scott Junger, Matt Junger, Jason Junger, and Brandon Anderson.
