On the morning of June 4, 2025, a light was lost from this world.
The true character of a man is not measured in money, possessions, or fame. A man’s true worth is about how he makes others feel. Today’s world can make people doubt their strength, faith, and worth. To have someone who literally makes you feel like a weight is lifted from your soul with his warmth and smile: that is a true gift.
Sheldon Heinz brightened the life of every person with whom he came in contact. He never left them doubting that he loved, respected, and admired them. His smile would bring out the smile in others even on a dreary day. Sheldon always thanked God for the blessings he had. His pride was his family, and the light of his life was his granddaughter, Shelby. His best days were spent with the Heinz girls and his friends, Wayne, John, Darlene, and Alfa.
Sheldon was also proud to be a retired member of the United States Army, and he was proud of his time serving his country. He believed in the country he fought for and the men and women who stood beside him. Sheldon was a man with a huge heart, twinkling blue eyes, and a spirit that will never be forgotten.
