Sharon Marie Goodwin

Sharon Marie Goodwin, age 48, a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.  She was born September 28, 1971 in Fort Gordon, Georgia to Billy Ray and Shirley Evans Goodwin.  Sharon worked as a CNA in the local area for several years until her health began to fail.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Dewey Evans and her grandmother who passed away two days after Sharon, Frances Evans.

Sharon is survived by one daughter, Julianna Sesay; one son, Anthony Bembow; mother, Shirley Hamrick and husband Herbert; father, Billy Ray Goodwin; one stepbrother, Anthony Hamrick; and special friends, Kevin Ottey and Aislinn Henderson.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, September 10, 2020 beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433 with Reverend Russell Hughes officiating.  A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
