Sharon Ann Elliot

Sharon Ann Elliott, 75, of Crestview, Florida, entered her heavenly home on Saturday, August 26, 2023.

She was born in Cambridge, Maryland on August 14, 1948, and served as a Corpsman in the United States Navy where she was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. Sharon resided in Crestview, Florida for the last seventeen years and was an active and passionate member of Crosspoint Church, South Crestview Campus. Sharon will be remembered for her generous spirit and desire to help anyone that she could.

She is survived by her best friend and caregiver, Diane Hoelter, and her extended church family. Surviving family members include son, Johnny Barranco, his wife, Stacey, and grandson, Julian. Sharon is also survived by granddaughter, Ashlei Brewer and great grandson, Nolan Leiffer. Other surviving family members include sisters, Traci Greenlee and her husband, Dave, as well as Connie Black and her husband, Steve; and brothers, Winkie, Forrest and his companion, Paula.

Sharon was preceded in death by granddaughter, Sophia Barranco; daughter, TJ Barranco Teutenberg and her husband, Fred; grandsons, Will, Brendan, and Peyton; granddaughters, Ellie and Emma; and sister, Valerie.

A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at Crosspoint Church, South Crestview Campus on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., with a luncheon to follow. Donations can be made to the Crosspoint South Crestview Regular Mission Fund in Sharon’s memory.
