Rosie B. Jefferson

Rosie B. Jefferson, age 69, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away Saturday, April 11, 2026, at North Okaloosa Medical Center.  She was born October 18, 1956, and lived a life filled with love, laughter, and faith. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness touched everyone she met. Rosie’s strength and compassion guided her family through life’s joys and challenges. Her radiant smile and gentle spirit will forever remain in our hearts. She leaves behind cherished memories with her loved ones, who will continue to honor her legacy through love and unity.

Rosie is preceded in death by her mother, Melissa Williams; father, Mack Jardan Williams; and one brother, John L. Williams.

She is survived by her husband, Cleveland Jefferson; three children, Rodney Shipman, Karen D. Williams, and April D. Caswell (Paul); two siblings, Albert Kinard (Lambert) and Essie Mae Stallworth (George); twelve grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.

A celebration of Rosie's life will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026, in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 State Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida, beginning at 3:00 p.m.  A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
