Rosemary Chirum Obituary

Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Friend went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2021 in her home surrounded by family.  Rosemary was born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 23, 1940 to the late Henry George Feiling and Victoria Puzzini Feiling, and was a graduate of St. George High School. She met her husband, Lou, in 1961 while on a blind date arranged by friends, and still talked about to this day.  Married in 1962, the two were blessed with a son, Chris, and daughter, Jackie, who have many loving memories of a devoted mother.  Rosemary worked as a bookkeeper/ regional secretary for Foxmoor, and in the banking and real estate industry, but spent most of her time caring for her family.  A devout Catholic, Rosemary was active in her parish, often giving out communion to those shut in or sick.

After Lou and Rosemary retired to Destin, Florida in 1998, they enjoyed many years with their relocated family who expanded to include 4 grandchildren and a great grandchild.  Her family finds peace knowing that she is in her heavenly home and we will be with her again one day.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Louis James Chirum, a brother and sister. She leaves behind son, Chris Chirum(Rene)of Destin, Florida; daughter, Jackie Mulrain(Matt) of Crestview, Florida; granddaughter, Sarah Donaldson of Calgary, Canada; granddaughter, Katie Rasbeck and great grandson, Nolan Rasbeck of Niceville, Florida; grandson, Luke Chirum and granddaughter, Grace Chirum of Pensacola, Florida; grandson, Austin Mulrain of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida and Jim Donaldson of Webster, Massachusetts, whom Rosemary thought of as family and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Little Sisters of the Poor (www.adevpittsburgh@littlesistersofthepoor.org., 412-307-1100) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www. stjude.org, 800-805-5856 822).  Thank you to Regency Hospice and those who helped to care for her.  A Mass will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11:00 am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Beach Drive, Destin, with a reception to follow.
