Rosalee Adams of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the age of 90 years old. She was born in Orlando, Florida to the late James and Sarah Batten. In June of 1955, she tied the knot with the love of her life Claude (Bud) Adams in Pascagoula, Mississippi and started her life traveling around the world with Bud on his deployments. Everywhere they were stationed, you could find her behind the counter at the local bank working as a teller until they settled in Fort Walton Beach where she became the Vice President of bookkeeping at the First City Bank.
When she was not working, you could find Rosalee and Bud at the local Breakfast place or gambling at the casinos on the weekends that they were not spending with their daughter and grandson.
Rosalee is survived by her daughter, Gale Adams; grandchildren, Hunter and Adara Norris; great-grandchildren, Parker and Peyton Norris; Sister in law, Sharon Adams; nephews, Tim, Ricky, Bill and Rob; nieces, Kimberley, Debbie and Barbara and great nieces and nephew Kristen, Kylie and Jacob. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bud Adams and niece Lynne Puder.
Private Services will be held graveside at the Beal Memorial Parkway, March 3rd at 1:00 p.m. with Chaplin Tom Baez officiating.
In lieu of flowers, we encourage family and friends to make a donation to a local dog shelter in her name for the love of animals she had her whole life.
