Roger Beaulieu Obituary

Roger Bertrand Beaulieu, age 88, of Lewiston, Maine, Ormond Beach, Florida, and Murphy, North Carolina, was called home to be with God on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at HCA Fort Walton Beach (Florida) Hospital, following a brief illness.

Roger was born in Sabbatus (then Webster), Maine, on September 19, 1937, to Yvonne (Poussard) and Ludger Beaulieu. As a young man, after graduating high school, Roger served in the United States Navy before returning to civilian life and working as a Financial Advisor for Burlington Insurance, as a Department Manager for Grant’s Department Store, and as a High-Power Laser Technician for RCA, then moving to Ormond Beach in 1971, to become the proud owner of Atlantic Camera, a full service photography business, for over twenty-five years.

Roger married Sandra (Van Laethem) in 1965 and they were blessed with four children: William, Susie, Barbara and Remie. Roger and Sandra were eventually divorced but remained friends. Roger later found love again with Karen Bryant, and they lived together in Murphy, North Carolina, for nearly twenty years.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Yvonne and Ludger, and his youngest son, Remie. He is survived by his children: William (Kimberly), Susie, and Barbara; daughter-in-law, Sheila; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and his siblings: Arline, Joseph (Beverly), and Richard (Rosalie).

A celebration of Roger’s life will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., at Holly Hill Church of Christ in Holly Hill, Florida. Interment will follow at the Jacksonville National Cemetery on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 11:30 a.m.
