With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Roberta Lea (Cassidy) Pifer, 67, who left this world peacefully on June 21, 2025, in the arms of her loving and devoted husband, Mark Pifer, at their home in Navarre, Florida.
Roberta was the daughter of the late Robert and Jacqueline Cassidy of Fort Walton Beach. A proud graduate of Choctawhatchee High School, she spent most of her life along the Emerald Coast, where she built a legacy of kindness, hard work, and unwavering faith.
Many will remember Roberta for her cheerful spirit and dedicated service at both Okaloosa County Fairgrounds and the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Department. She found boundless joy in supporting her daughter and cheering on the Fort Walton Beach High School Swim Team. The best part of Roberta was being a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a faithful Christian, who believed in Jesus Christ with all her heart.
She is survived and greatly missed by her loving husband, Mark Pifer; her cherished daughter, Lacy Cassidy; and her brothers, David Cassidy (wife, Trina, daughter, Amanda) and Glen Cassidy (wife, Nancy, son Luke). She was preceded in death by her brothers, Tim and Donald Cassidy.
Roberta’s beautiful smile, contagious laughter, and generous heart touched all who knew her. Though we grieve her loss deeply, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace with her Lord and Savior.
A Celebration of Roberta’s life will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Davis Watkins Funeral Home in Fort Walton Beach. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment to follow immediately at Beal Memorial Cemetery.
