Robert Finemore Yoder, Jr.

Robert "Bob" Finemore Yoder, Jr, age 68, passed away April 19, 2023, at Metro Bacolod Hospital and Medical Center Bacolod City, Negros Occidental Philippines. He was the proud husband of Rosalyn Yoder, with whom he shared twenty-three, wonderful years of life. Born in Adrian, Michigan, Bob was the son of Robert F. Yoder, Sr. and Ruby Yoder. He attended Michigan Public Schools. Bob enlisted in the United States Navy at the age of 17 and served in numerous wars such as Vietnam, Persian Gulf, Desert Storm, Desert Shield, and the Global War on Terror. After thirty-two years of helping protect our great nation, Bob retired from the Navy as a Chief Warrant Officer 4 Bos'n. Bob was a member of The Knights of Columbus, and Our Lady of Victory Church. He enjoyed rebuilding classic cars, riding his Harley, and traveling the world. Bob was a strong-willed, hard-working, honest father who loved all of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. 

Bob is survived by his mother, Ruby Crowell; wife, Rosalyn Yoder; and children, Promise Sandlin, Robert F. Yoder III, Hope Barrera, Michael Yoder, Michael Smidt, Karin Joy Yoder, and Leonard Yoder; fourteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. 

A time of visitation will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Crestview Memorial, 492 E. Pine Avenue, Crestview, Florida 32539. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2023, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church, 550 Adams Street, Crestview, Florida, with Father Roy officiating. Committal services will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, Pensacola, Florida.
