Robert Edwards Obituary

Robert Thomas Edwards was born in Opelika, Alabama on October 11, 1933 and went home to be with the Lord on May 29, 2018.

Bob was survived by his wife and childhood sweetheart, Patricia Ann Edwards for 62 years; son, Timothy Edwards of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida and daughter, Terrie Buckner of Haysville, North Carolina; ten grandchildren, Brandi Edwards, Michael Edwards, Matthew Edwards, Mitchell Edwards, Mark Edwards, Jamey Johnson, Robby Johnson, Marshall Johnson, Corrie Johnson and Cheyenne Buckner; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bob served four years in the United States Air Force as a Fireman for the Aircraft Emergency Crash and Recovery Team at Webb Air Force Base, Texas. He was a member of Hollywood Boulevard Baptist Church of Fort Walton Beach for twelve years.

Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 6:00 p.m., visitation will be starting at 5:30 at Hollywood Baptist Church, 204 Hollywood Boulevard, Ft. Walton Beach, Florida 32548.
