Robert Martin Dodd

Robert Martin Dodd, age 82, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023.  He was born September 5, 1940, in Baltimore, Maryland, to William Dodd and Helen Tawny Dodd.  He graduated trade school in 1958 and went on to proudly serve his country by enlisting in the United States Air Force from 1958 until 1962. 

Robert worked for Bendex Field Engineering beginning in 1962 and later, John Hopkins Physics Laboratory in 1964, where he was able to travel the world.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, William and Helen Dodd and one daughter, Dana Marie Brazie.

Robert is survived by his wife, Diane Shiebeck Dodd; one daughter, Kelly Dodd Raver and husband, Steve; one son, Robert Dodd, II and wife, Heather; one son-in-law, John Brazie; one grandson, Robert M. Dodd, III; one brother, William Dodd and wife, Sue; and one sister, Margaret Possidente and husband, John.

Services will be posted at a later date and will be held at Cluster Springs Baptist Church.
