Rickey Lee Harrison

Rickey Lee Harrison, age 36, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021.  He was born March 7, 1985 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida to Daniel and Leiah Gibson Harrison. He was a loving husband and devoted father to his children and would rather be at home with his family than anywhere else. He was an avid New England Patriot's fan who enjoyed playing video games almost as much as he loved playing pranks on his kids. His wicked sense of humor and joy for making everyone laugh will be missed by all who knew him. 

He is preceded in death by mother, Leiah Harrison.

Rickey is survived by his loving wife, Julia; two children, Claire and Connor; his father, Edward Stanhope; two brothers, Nicholas Stanhope of Opp, Alabama, and Thomas Stanhope of Independence, Missouri, and a host of friends and loved ones.

Those serving as pall bearers: Anthony Perrucci, Kimsey Hudson, Ricky Hundley, Dewey Culpepper, Buddy Burgess and Dean Turner.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 26, 2021 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 State Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433, beginning at 11 a.m. with Minister Joel Davis officiating.  A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Committal services will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.
