Reba Gayle Blankenship

Reba Gayle Blankenship, age 82, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025, at her residence. She was born February 21, 2025, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Lonie Garrett and Stella Butts.  In her spare time, Reba enjoyed fishing and cooking delicious meals to share with loved ones.  She loved flowers and all their beauty.  In her younger years, she was a faithful member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church in Ponce de Leon, Florida and currently a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Eufaula, Alabama.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lonie and Stella Garrett; and one sister, Shirley Gomillion.

Reba is survived by her loving husband, William “Bill” Blankenship; one daughter, LeCretia Peerson; one grandson, John Derrick Allen; one great grandson, Ethan Fisher Gautney; one sister, Sybil Davis; along with several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Sandy Creek Baptist Church, 1125 Line Road, Ponce de Leon, Florida 32455 beginning at 11 a.m.  A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Committal services will follow in Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
