Portia Nashay Robinson

Portia Nashay Robinson, age 33, departed this life Sunday, May 10, 2020, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida.  She was born Friday, January 9, 1987, in DeFuniak Springs to Vivian and Roy Wilson.  Portia joined Union Springs Missionary Baptist Church at an early age.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lonnie and Ola Robinson; three uncles, Lonnie Robinson Jr, John Robinson, and Ralph Robinson.

Portia leaves to cherish her memory to her parents, Vivian and Roy Wilson; two sons, Kolby Washington and Kendall Gilbert; two daughters, Katelyn Wilson and Chyna Robinson; two sisters, Chelsea (Daniel) Neal and Latisha Wilson of Houston, Texas; paternal grandmother, Laurell Wilson of Houston, Texas; four aunts, Faye (Willie) Jackson, Iris Robinson, Cecelia (Greg) Delegol, Beverly Robinson; one uncle, Gary (Carolyn) Robinson of Tampa, Florida; nieces; and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday, May 15, 2020, in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433 beginning at 10:00 a.m. and lasting thru out the day until 5:00 p.m. Guest may sign the register book and come and go as they wish.  A celebration of Portia’s life will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2020, at Davis-Watkins outside with tents and chairs.  Pastor A.M. Johnson will be officiating.  The family has requested that everyone please wear a mask.
