Phillip Joseph Miller

Phillip Joseph Miller, affectionately know as Phil or Pineapple, age 49, of Shalimar, Florida, went to be with the Lord on May 21, 2020.  He was born on November 14, 1970 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Phil was a 1988 graduate of Choctawhatchee High School and attended Jeff-Davis Junior College, one year on a Baseball scholarship.  He was selected to the All-District 2-AAAA baseball team in a pitcher position. Phil was a resided of the Fort Walton Beach area since 1981, after living in Bangkok, Thailand, Cape Charles AFS, VA, Orange Park, FL, and NAS, Jacksonville, FL. He loved to surf, fish and play softball. 

He is survived by his parents, Ed Miller and Pet Miller of Fort Walton Beach, FL; brothers, Alan Miller of Fort Walton Beach, FL,  Brad J. Miller of Ozark, MO, and David J. Miller of Fort Walton Beach, FL; Hobbies:  Surfing, Fishing, 

A memorial service is being held on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Emerald Coast Church A/G located at 117 Jonquil Ave. (Behind Eglin Credit Union ATM location), beginning at 11:00 AM with finger-foods and beverages immediately after the service.  Please remember Covid-19 virus protocols; 6 feet separation and masks optional.  Please do not attend if you are sick or have a FEVER.  Cards can be mailed to Miller's home residence: 139 Fulmar Cir.
