Peter James Fimiani

Peter James Fimiani, age 84, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024 in Ft. Walton Beach.  Peter was born, August 3, 1940, and raised in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, where he met the love of his life before moving with her and their three children to Piscataway, New Jersey.

Peter was an ironworker with Local 373 for twenty five years before moving to Florida and becoming a building inspector.  After losing his wife, Gail, in 1994, Peter spent his time moving back and forth from New Jersey to Florida and building train layouts. 

Peter is survived by his sons, James and his wife, Mary, and Thomas and his wife, Laura and daughter, Susan; seven grandchildren, Angela, Danielle, Jennifer, Matthew, Jessica, Dalton and Jared; and four great grandchildren, Cailynn, Cassidy, Luke and Hudson. 

Peter is preceded in death by his father, Peter Anthony Fimiani; mother, Agnes Claire Fimiani; sisters, Alice Teresa Policastro, Patricia McCormick and Jan Marie Prokop.
