Peggy A. Taylor, age 91, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida passed away peacefully at her home on Sept. 3, 2021. She was born on August 30, 1930 in Abington, PA.
Peggy enjoyed playing golf, sailing, growing flowers, and researching the family’s genealogy. A life-long member of the Episcopal Church, she was an active member at Saint Simons on The Sound where she served as the counseling center secretary and church registrar for 35 years.
Peggy is survived by her devoted family members, son, Joseph Taylor, Jr.; of Shalimar, FL; daughter, Patti (Marty) Kimball of Fort Walton Beach, FL; brother, Phillip Ammons, Peach Tree City, GA; grandchildren, Lt Col Patrick Taylor of Destin, FL, Anne Taylor of Crestview, FL and Shawn (Aaron) Kimball-Loeser of Kona, Hawaii; one great granddaughter, Josephine, of Fort Walton Beach, FL; brother in law, Earl Carrell, Etters, PA; and nieces, Jodi (Richard) Acri, Etters, PA, and Morgan and Lindsay Ammons of GA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bertha and Clarence Ammons; husband, Joseph Taylor, Sr.; sister, Nancy Carrell; daughter in law, Cheryl Taylor; and grandson, Paul Taylor.
