Paul "Bryan" Chadwell Obituary

Bryan Chadwell, our beloved son, brother, father, uncle and nephew passed away September 13, 2018. Bryan was born on November 18, 1967 in Lexington, Kentucky, the son of Paul and Susan Chadwell.  He grew up in Atlanta with a huge loving family, graduated from St. Pius High School and attended FSU and University of Georgia where he studied Hotel Restaurant Management, but his true love was for the GATORS.  His career as a restauranteur took him from Atlanta, GA to settling in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. He recently changed his career path and was working with a great team at Gary Smith Ford.

Bryan was married to Lindsey Chadwell and is survived by his children Madalyn Kennedy and Duff Chadwell; mother Susan Chadwell; sisters and brothers-in-law, Michelle (Dave) Bjork, Diana (Matt) Brown, Leslie (Chris) Moorman; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy (Jenny) Chadwell, Duff (Jordan) Chadwell, Dane (Sunny) Chadwell; nephews, Matthew, Ethan, Stuart, Haydn, Rohmer, Coen, Eli, Jacob, Cash, Knox, Chad, Grady, Easton, Hayes; along with numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

Bryan is also survived by his mother-in-law, Cindy Nickless and Art Quinn and father-in-law, Randy Porter and Madonna Ellis; brother-in-law Jerrod (Penny) Porter and sister-in-law, Hillary (Derrik) Mersiovsky; nephews and nieces, Logan, Mackenzie, Matthew, Gavin, Mckalynn, Mitchell, Kaylee and Myka.

Bryan was preceded in death by his father, Paul Chadwell; maternal grandparents, William and Marjorie Neale of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; and paternal grandparents, D.E. and Mable Chadwell of Stanford, KY.

Bryan’s most treasured accomplishment was his role as a husband and father to his son Duff and his step-daughter Madalyn. To his immediate and extended family, he was known as a protector who would do anything, be anywhere he needed to be, in order to ensure that those he cared for were safe, happy, and loved. He was all heart and passion.

Bryan enjoyed beach time with his family, playing and creating games, and being surrounded by those he loved. He was innately creative and artistic and leant those qualities to everything he put his mind to.

The Memorial Service will be held at Davis Watkins Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road NE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547, Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. with memories being shared at 2:40 p.m., preceded by a visitation at 2:00 p.m.
