Paul Wayne Griffith, age 60, of Fort Walton Beach, born April 27, 1965, in Highland Park, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on February 23, 2026, surrounded by his entire family.
Parents: Samuel Henry and Clotine Elizabeth Griffith.
Married his wife, Amber (Kukuk) Griffith, in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan, on June 28, 1986.
Graduated from East Detroit High School in Eastpointe, Michigan, in 1983.
Paul was a CNC machinist and worked for Savair many years and then moved on to Fori Automation before returning to Savair. In 2006, he was offered a position at Fort Walton Machining in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, so we moved from Michigan and started a new adventure. He worked on projects and built parts for NASA to Disney, as well as military projects.
He loved boating, teaching his girls how to hunt, respect and shoot guns, as well as teaching the ins and outs of car repair so they would be truly able to take care of themselves. His favorite thing, though, would have been his love for motorcycles. He had a passion for being on his bike and flying down the open road. He was a lifetime member of the NRA as well as the National Hunters Association. There wasn’t anything Paul was not able to figure out how to fix. From fixing cars to fixing house foundations—if he didn’t know how, he would figure it out. He was truly a jack of all trades.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Amber (Kukuk) Griffith; daughters Amanda Rodrigues (TJ) and Samantha Maddox (Thomas); brother David D. Griffith (Margaret) and children Brian (Monica), Sean, and Brandy.
Preceded in death by parents Samuel H. and Clotine E. Griffith.
Fur babies: Nemo and Dory.
As per Paul’s wishes, there will be no formal service. He will be cremated and his ashes will be distributed at several places that held special meaning to him and his family at a later date. The family will be doing a get-together in the near future to celebrate and toast Paul with any friends who would like to come. The family will post on social media dates and times when arranged.
