Patricia Leah Reeves

Patricia Reeves Johnston of Florala, Alabama went to be with the Lord January 23, 2023. She was born May 27, 1963, in Opp, Alabama to John P. and Yvonne Gautney Warren. Patricia married the love of her life, Royce Johnston, and enjoyed many years of happiness. She became the mother of two sons. Her greatest maternal joy was the love she showered upon her grandsons, Dawson and Kip, who loved their “Nana” as only grandsons could. Patricia was always busy with the details of family life, making sure everything was completed and done correctly. Always with the interest of others on her mind, she continually gave of herself to be a help where she could. Her precious smile and infectious laughter was always present and will be sorely missed. Patricia's greatest passion in life was her family, and that was one of the reasons why she was so precious to her family. Patricia was a ready advocate for others, and they loved her for her concern.

She is preceded in death by her father, John P. Warren; brother, John C. Warren; and sister, Paula Y. Evans.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Royce Johnston; sons, Jeffery Reeves (Amanda) and Jacob Reeves (Mallori); two grandsons, Dawson and Kip; mother, Yvonne Warren; brothers, Mark Warren (Joy) and David Warren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Patricia has received her mansion over the hilltop, as only God knows why she was called home so soon. May she rest easy, as we miss our wife, mother, Nana, daughter, sister, and friend.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, January 29, 2023, in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433, beginning at 3:00 p.m., with Mark Warren officiating. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
