Diane was born on November 4, 1957, in Buford, Georgia, to Lee H. Page and Geneva Frost (Kennedy). She was raised along the beautiful beaches of Florida’s Emerald Coast in Okaloosa County, where she developed a deep love for her community and the coastal life she cherished throughout her years. Diane spent the majority of her life in Okaloosa County, forming lasting friendships and connections along the way. She was known for her kind heart, her love of family and friends, and her enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures, especially time spent with loved ones, caring for her pets, and shopping.
She is preceded in death by her biological father, Lee H. Page; her mother, Geneva F. Kennedy; and her stepfather, Ernest E. Kennedy, whom she adored greatly.
She is survived by her only child, Anthony “Tony” Kelly of Niceville, Florida; and her former husband of over 28 years, Russell R. McCain of Mary Esther, Florida. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Services will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fort Payne, Alabama. Visitation will take place from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., followed by a traditional funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. The family extends their sincere appreciation to Davis-Watkins Funeral Home in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and Wilson Funeral Home in Fort Payne, Alabama for their care and assistance during this time. They would also like to express heartfelt gratitude to Diane’s close friend, Diane Counley of Shalimar, Florida, with whom she lived and shared a special bond of friendship and care.
Diane’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
