Patricia (Williams) Bailey

Patricia Williams Bailey, age 63, passed away Wednesday July 9, 2025, in Chipley, Florida. She was born July 28, 1961 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Lloyd Junior Williams and Mary Alice Gillis. Patricia was a woman whose love knew no bounds. She had a mother’s heart and Mimi’s embrace, touching countless lives with her never-ending love and unwavering support. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in her yards and fishing.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Junior Williams and Mary Alice Gillis; stepfather, Grady Gillis; son, Brandon Bailey; and two sisters, Murl Simmons and Kathy Curry.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Elbert Bailey; daughter, Jennie Rushing (Wayne) of Ponce de Leon, Florida; two stepchildren, Pennie Rider (Jack) and Clayton Bailey (Jennifer) of Carrollton, Georgia; eight grandchildren, Landon “little buddy” Rushing, Aaron Rushing (Cassie), Caidon Rushing, Hunter Rider (Kylee), Jackie Peoples (Logan), Levi Rider, Patrick Bailey, and Kenzie Bailey; four great grandchildren, Oaklee, Brylee, Lawson, and Pennie Marie; one brother, James Williams (Donna); two sisters, Margaret Birge (Mike) and Connie Nobles; and special friend, Debbie Harrison Denig; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Those asked to serve as pallbearers are as follows: Timothy "Bebo" Williams, Aaron Rushing, Landon Rushing, Kolbie Parker, Trevor Parker and TJ Williams; honorary pallbearers are James Parker and Hayden Hatcher.

A time of visitation will be held Friday, July 11, 2025, in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home of Bonifay, 406 West Highway 90, Bonifay, Florida from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday July 12, 2025, at Davis-Watkins Funeral Home of Bonifay beginning at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Kenny Montgomery officiating. Committal services will follow at Caryville Cemetery.
