Nita Marie Naber, age 85, of Crestview, Florida peacefully passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2026.
Born on April 14, 1941, in Cortland, New York, Nita brought an abundance of grace, warmth and gentle kindness into the world. She spent her life cultivating a beautiful legacy rooted in deep devotion to her family and community. Nita was a guiding light of unconditional love, possessing an elegant spirit and a generous heart that touched everyone, fortunate enough to know her.
Nita was reunited in eternal rest with her beloved husband, David Naber; her two dear sons, James Ingrahm, Jr. and Jeffrey Ingrahm; and her precious great-granddaughter, Alexis Ingrahm.
Her memory will be forever cherished by her surviving children: her daughter, Juanita Bean and spouse, Ace Bean; son, Jerry Ingrahm; and daughter, Julie Brown. She also leaves behind nine adored grandchildren and a precious number of great-grandchildren, all of whom carried immense joy into her life.
Family and friends are invited to gather and honor Nita’s beautiful life at the funeral service which will be held July 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Davis-Watkins Crestview Memorial, 492 East Pine Avenue, Crestview, Florida. A time of visitation will be held an hour prior. Committal services will be held July 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, Pensacola, Florida.
