Myrtle Statham Obituary
Our loving mother, Myrtle Elliott Statham, age 84, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 12, 2018. She was married to Thomas Phillip Statham, a loving husband for 33 years and the love of her life. She was born to Joe and Mary Elliott in Langdale, Alabama on December 26, 1933. Myrtle regularly attended the Knox Hill Baptist Church in Ponce de Leon, Florida and really loved her church family. The church graciously welcomed her with open arms when she moved to the area 7 years ago.
She is preceded in death by her husband; mother and father; two older brothers, Edward “Red” Elliott and James Elliott; and one older sister, Louise Elliott Hodges.
Myrtle is survived by her children, Suzan Statham of Ponce de Leon, Florida, and Thomas Statham and wife Debra of Panama City, Florida; one granddaughter, Jordyn of Panama City, Florida; and two older sisters, Helen Elliott Farr of Opelika, Alabama and Margie Thompson of Lanette, Alabama.
In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held.
