Mrs. Aster Lee Randolph Obituary

Mrs. Aster Lee Randolph was born March 10, 1947, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to the late Douglas Cobb and Kummie Stuckey Cobb.  Mrs. Aster Lee Randolph age 78, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025, in Crestview, Florida surrounded by loved ones. She was a woman of great character, brutally honest, with a beautiful penmanship that reflected her attention to detail in everything she did. Aster was very sharp, business-minded and an unwavering commitment to put everyone else's needs before her own, often sacrificing her own desires for the happiness of those she loved. She had a zest for life, finding joy in simple pleasures such as talking on the phone, tackling puzzles, cooking delicious meals for her baby, and visiting friends and family. Her warmth and kindness drew people to her. Aster was a graduate of Tivoli High School, class of 1969.  She went on to obtain her certification in management from Florida A&M University. Aster ended her years of employment as a Medical Assistant.

Aster leaves to cherish her memories a devoted husband, Theodis Randolph; a daughter, Jennifer Underwood of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; three grandchildren, Grant Tibbs of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; Reid Tibbs of Seattle, Washington; Amber Jones of DeFuniak Springs; nine great grandchildren; one brother, David Cobb (Debbie); a special best cousin, Ruth Sheffield; Godson, Rosheen Blackmon; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, John Ceasar Cobb, Edward Cobb, Lorenzo Cobb, Dee Cobb, Joseph Cobb, and Douglas Jr. Cobb; and three sisters, Julia Ann Walker, Minnie Pearl Cobb, and Vinice Onester Graham.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025, at St. John AME Church, 307 Knox Hill Road, Ponce de Leon, Florida 32425 beginning at 12:00 p.m.
