On Saturday, April 24, 2021, Julian Kenneth Pehanick, a loving husband, son, and brother, passed away peacefully at his home.
Julian was born October 22, 1982, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, to Kenneth and Michele Pehanick. As a teenager, he moved to Memphis, Tennessee, and then to Destin, Florida, for much of his adult life. He recently earned his real estate license in Florida and was part of Navarre Beach Realty. On November 2, 2019, he married Robyn Best.
Julian had a passion for helping others. He was a role model that was easy to look up to. He could inspire others with his kind and compassionate spirit. His strength was seen through his upbeat, optimistic outlook on life. He had his challenges in life, but would see the bright side of difficult situations by relying on his faith in God. He had an undeniable bond with his family, including his aunts, uncles, cousins, and especially his parents and brother. He found his ultimate happiness with his wife and best friend, Robyn. He was known for his big heart, infectious personality, and being the life of the party. He had an inherent ability to connect with all walks of life no matter their position or status. He was also an avid gym goer and amateur botanist.
He is survived by his wife, Robyn; his parents, Kenneth and Michele; his brother, Derek; and his dog, Rock.
A funeral service will be held at Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 113 NE Racetrack Road, Fort Walton Beach, Florida 32547, Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service beginning at 12 p.m. Interment will follow at Destin Memorial Cemetery.
