Miranda Renee (Darling) Watkins

Miranda Renee Watkins passed away peacefully in her home in Crestview, Florida on May 17, 2025 at 50 years old. She was born on May 17, 1975 in Browns Valley, California to Naomi and Kevin Darling.

During her life, Miranda lived in many different states but resided in Gillette, Wyoming until she moved to Crestview. She completed her Commercial Driver’s License to drive semi-trucks before she was diagnosed with cancer.

Miranda is survived by her mother and father, Naomi and Kevin Darling; her five children, Rachele, Raymond, Khloe, Aryan and Akillieas, whom she loves very much; her grandchildren, Axel and Sawyir, whom meant the world to her; and her brother, Kevin Darling, Jr. and many friends she gained along the way. She has also left behind four cats, Kiki, Ginger, Mary, and baby cat, whom she loved very much. Miranda is preceded in death by her grandparents; her son, Kevin; and her cousin, Neeley.

Services will be held by a friend in Gillette, Wyoming, and by family in Sacramento, California. Dates are yet to be determined.

The family would personally like to thank Davis Watkins Memorial Home for taking such great care of Miranda after she passed and to Joel Davis and Hospice for donating funds to help lay her to rest. We would also like to thank Geneva Hospice for helping make this process smooth for she and her children.
