Michele Christine Boyd

Michele Christine Boyd, retired U.S. Air Force, passed away December 31st 2024 at the age of 73. Michele was a woman of immense strength, tenacity, and a fierce individuality that left an enduring impression on all who knew her.

Born in January 1951, Michele was raised in an Air Force family, and proudly carried on that legacy. She dedicated twenty-one years of service to our country as an officer in the United States Air Force. As a Major in Public Affairs, she wielded her professionalism and forthright nature to represent the values and mission of the armed forces with grace and integrity. Her dedication to her work was matched only by her commitment to her family.

A devoted daughter, Michele provided unwavering care and support to her mother and father throughout their lives. She was also a loving aunt to her two cherished nieces, whom will remember her as a guiding force, a source of wisdom, and a constant supporter of their dreams.

 Michele’s devotion to her community, especially cats in need of a home, reflected her caring spirit. Her beloved cat, Koko, brought her endless joy and companionship.

Those who knew Michele will forever admire her unapologetic authenticity and refusal to conform to anything other than her true self. Her tenacity and humor were as much a part of her legacy as her career and family contributions.

Michele's life will be celebrated privately by her family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Save Our Cats and Kittens rescue, commemorating her fondness for our community's pets.

She will be deeply missed, but her spirit lives on in the memories of those who loved her and the lives she touched.
