Michael Lindsey

Michael Lindsey, age 63, was born April 27, 1957 to the late Clyde and Lillie Mae Lindsey.  God called him to glory on the morning of April 6, 2021 while at Sacred Heart Hospital.

In recent years, Michael Lindsey attended Temple Missionary Baptist Church.  Friends and family would describe him as a teacher, mentor, having a wealth of knowledge about many different topics, strong willed, and having a combative personality that would either make you smile or cause you to become vocal.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, Freddie "Boss Man" Lindsey, and Clyde Lindsey, Jr. 

He is survived by one sister, Nancy Lindsey of Defuniak Springs, Florida; one brother, Sadatna Setuckmarie "Baby Lindsey" of Orting, Washington; one son, Mario (Keisha) Lindsey of Lawton, Oklahoma; three daughters, Keturah Lindsey of Defuniak Springs, Florida, Toccara (Markees) Addison of Crestview, Florida, Akela Whitehead of Destin, Florida; and a host of grandchildren, nephews, friends and two great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 State Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433, from 6 until 8 p.m.  Graveside services will be held Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Magnolia Cemetery beginning at 3 p.m.
