Michael Jean Dubois

Michael “Mike” Jean Dubois, an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, went home to Jesus on August 29, 2020. He was born on August 22, 1961, in Lowell, Massachusetts. He joins in Heaven with his father and mother, Paul and Sylvia Dubois; sister, Paula Buchanan; and grandson, Mugan A. Carter. He is survived by his wife, Candy; brothers, Robert and Ray; 5 children, Amanda, Michael, Crystal, Justin, and David; and 13 grandchildren. He was an amazing and talented lifelong painter who befriended everyone with his generosity and laughter. He will be remembered for always being able to make anyone laugh and having such a calming spirit. He never took life to seriously and only ever wanted to live life to the fullest and be happy. He would not want anyone to not do the same. Please do not mourn him, celebrate him, and all that he was and still is as he walks in heaven alongside his mom, dad, sister, and grandson. He will be cherished and kept alive in spirit by all who love him. The family would like to thank all friends and loved ones who have expressed their sympathy and love during this very difficult time.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 4 pm till 6 pm at Davis Watkins Funeral Home in Fort Walton Beach.  Please join the family in celebrating his life at Saint Mary Catholic Church, Friday, September 11, 2020 at 10am with a combined Mass of Christian Burial honoring Mike and his father, Paul.  Burial will follow the service at Brooks Cemetery.
