Michael Crim Obituary

Michael Scott Crim, age 56, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, has passed on to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, March 2, 2020.    Michael was born on August 29, 1963 in Selma, Alabama, to parents, William G. Crim and Sylvia P. Crim.  Michael was a child of an Air Force family and had traveled to Germany, New Mexico, and Florida. He lived in Valparaiso, Florida where he attended middle school and high school. He had been a resident of this area since 1976.

Michael was of Christian faith with many interests. He loved playing baseball and became a racquetball champion during middle school. He enjoyed a good round of golf. He was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and remained a sports enthusiast throughout his life.  Michael found the love of his life and married Pamela G. Reed on September 8, 1990. They had two sons, Garrett R. Crim and Jacob W. Crim. Michael was a loving and kind father who was always there no matter what. Michael was a Rocky Bayou Christian School maintenance volunteer while his sons attended the school. He became a heating and air conditioning technician, and worked locally for many years. Family gatherings were always a blast.  He loved a great fireworks display, fishing was a great pass time for him, and his labor of love for smoking meats was shared with many.

Michael is survived by his wife, Pamela G. Crim of 29 years; sons, Garrett R Crim and Jacob W. Crim all of Fort Walton Beach, Florida;  his mother, Sylvia P. Crim of Valparaiso, Florida;  brother, Danny G. Crim, wife, Dawn Crim; nephews, Weston, Cody and Austin of Manchester, New Hampshire; sister, Lesha M.
