Mary Saloma Richardson

Mary S. Richardson of Baker , Florida,  left the limitations of this life August 6, 2019, to spend eternity in Heaven.

Born October 22, 1913, in Pulaski, Iowa, Mary was the youngest of five children born to Frederick and Minnie Nusbaum. When Mary was 15, the Nusbaums moved from Iowa to Northern Colorado, where she later met and married John Paul Richardson. They would be together for the next 68 years, until John's death in 2004. In 1950, John, Mary and their family moved to Florida, eventually settling on a farm in Baker in 1958, where she lived the rest of her life. Mary was a faithful member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, John; two sons, Allen and Gary; and two grandsons. Survivors include her son, Jim (Thedora) of Atmore, Alabama; John (Mary) of Baker, Florida; and 47 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the staff of Crestview Rehabilitation Center for the love, kindness and care to Miss Mary during her final years.

A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, 10:00 A.M. at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, with services to follow at 11:00 A.M.
