Mary Ellen Franklin

Mary Ellen Franklin, age 72, of Seascape in Miramar Beach Florida passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast.  She was born August 7, 1946 in Minot, North Dakota to Clifford and Katherine Granberg. She graduated from Northwood High School and Mayville State College. Mary Ellen met and married the love of her life, Tom Franklin on August 31, 1996.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and leaves to cherish her memory; husband, Tom Franklin; Mary Ellen's children: Sasha Johnson, Troy Johnson, Tom's children: Andrea (Todd) Notley and Casey (Amy) Franklin;  grandchildren: Nick (Gloria) Franklin and Tyler Notley; brother: Jim (Marlys) Granberg; cousin Audrey Dunn, her beloved border collie Kramer and a host of family, friends, and loved ones.

A memorial service was held Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Seascape in Miramar Beach. Additional services will be held in Northwood North Dakota. Details of those services will be announced at a later date.
