Mary Jane Baker

Mary Jane “Janice” Baker, a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 16, 2019, surrounded by her loving daughters.  For six years, she had courageously battled cancer.  She was born October 13, 1938 in England to Robert Barrie and Elizabeth McVicar.

She is preceded in death by both parents, husband Lonnie F. Baker, and her sister Margaret.

Janice is survived by three daughters, Carol Page, Sandra Smith and husband Steve, and Judy Miller and husband Jon; five grandchildren, Derek Korb and wife Brittany, Jessica Austin and husband Dan, Kaycee Lee and husband Clarence, Kelley Smith and fiancé Josh, and Cory Miller; one brother, Craig McVicar and wife Janice; one nephew, Gareth McVicar; and five great-grandchildren, Jayla, Jordan, Justice, Charlie, and Lucas.

A memorial service was held Sunday, October 20, 2019 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home in DeFuniak Springs, Florida.

Arrangements and services were under the direction of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home and Crematory.
